Guild Charter

This charter sets out the structure of the guild, our aims and targets and rights and requirements for each member and officer.

In general we only have one hard and fast rule - "Don't be an Ass". Everything else is basically a specific implementation of this rule.

1 - Guild Structure

i/ Ranks - There are six ranks in the guild - Leader, Officer, Lieutenant, Member, Unregistered and initiate
- Initiate - Shiny new members who haven't registered on the forums or presented an officer with an appropriate bribe or flattery to be a member.
- Unregistered - Newish members who still haven't registered on the forums
- Member - Everyone! Full "paid up" members who havent presented an officer with an appropriate bribe or flattery to be a lieutenant.
- Lieutenant - Senior members. These are the folks who run raids and flashpoints, answer peoples questions in gchat, are actively helpful or amusing on the forums or have served a long time. They have not however presented an appropriate bribe or level of flattery to the guild leader to be made an officer.
- Officer - Stand ins for the Guild leader when he isn't there, can kick folk help decide the future of the guild, eventually probably manage guild bank and finances.
- Leader - Leads.

2 - Requirements

As a member of enforcers you have a few responsibilities:
i/ Guild reputation.
You must not ruin our rep, this means no abusing people in general, no ninja looting in groups, if you run past someone losing a fight throw 'em a heal, if you are targeting a timed spawn offer to group with anyone else waiting for the spawn. Basically try to be nice. Like Jedi.
ii/ Forums
You NEED to register on the forums. We use them to organise raids, pass on information and make sure we are a guild, regardless of whether the are members in different time zone who never play together.
iii/ Teamspeak
You must be able to at least hear teamspeak. We are a social guild and the days of doing everything via text chat are long gone.

3 - Raiding and Looting

Signups
Signups are handled on the forums, if you want in a raid just add your name to the thread for that raid. In general we will implement a first-come first-served selection but the raid leader may substitute in other players to make sure the raid is a success.

We will make sure everyone gets a fair opportunity but at times some patience is required. We will endeavour to publish the raid team 24 hours before the raid where possible.

Loot
We will not (at first and hopefully forever) be running a dkp system, everyone "can" roll on drops for there character however there will be some provisions:
- Master Loot will always be used and a guild officer or raid leader will be responsible for distribution to prevent any mistakes.
- You have the right to roll on anything for you class, however if you have already had a drop in a raid and would be rolling against someone who has not then please, don't roll.
- Equally if something is a very minor upgrade for you but a tremendous upgrade for someone else, or is the only drop in an entire instance someone needs while you need everything, dont roll
- In short think about your guildmates, dont be greedy.

Upcoming Raids
